Laura: If opposites attract--like in people--how do they eventually become so similar?...like married couples often do. Adam: Oh, you mean like if you were at the north pole, how could you tell it was really the north pole and not the south pole? Laura: Where does he come up with logic like this?? Adam: Unless!...unless you were at the north pole during the summer. Then you'd know you were at the north pole because of the extended daylight. So opposites really always do stay opposites. Laura: Phew! Thank you. Were are as different as extended-night and extended-day.
