Arlo and Janis by Jimmy Johnson for August 21, 1997
Transcript:
Janis is doing some gardening. She realizes, "My poor blossoms! Your work is done, isn't it?" Janis stares at her a dying blossom and thinks, "Your glory is fading. You're spent! Useless!" Janis thinks, "I know how you feel!" Arlo looks outside at Janis and remarks, "Your mother sure enjoys working in her flower beds!"
Arlo, like you told the kid: never, ever, think you understand them.
