Mark: Let's pause now for station identification. Um. Can everyone see that okay? Good evening and welcome to channel 7, the adult late-night cable station. Tonight on "censored classics" we bring you an excerpt from the torrid orchard scene from act III of Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet." The excerpt is just one of the 370 lines that have been expunged from the widely used high school text "adventures in reading." Parents be forewarned. The scene you are about to see is unexpurgated and may be deemed too intense for teenaged viewers. Parental discretion is advised. "Lovers can see to do their amonois rites by their own beauties; or if love be blind it best agrees with night." Okay, that's enough excitement for one night! Call the kids back in.
