The photography art of Rosita McKenzie of Edinburgh, Scotland, was featured in the 2010 Edinburgh art festival- amazing, since Rosita has been blind since age 12! Ginger Dosier of the American University of SharJah in the United Arab Emirates created a technique for making bricks without heat. The self-hardening bricks are made with bacteria, sand and urea! Dick de Bruin lost his camera while diving off the coast of Aruba in November 2009 and, 7 months later- a coast guard found the camera 1,000 miles away on a beach in Key West Fla., USA, and returned it to its owner through the photos on the camera!
