If the start of the tape, showing Rodney get up, and start strangling a deputy after he was tased, had been shown every time the REST of the tape was played, things might have gone quite differently. As with a video in New Orleans, that stopped being played as soon as the AUDIO was available of what the “detainee” was saying to the police, maybe what Rodney was saying that night might also have influenced “public opinion”??
Unfortunately, every indication is that both civility, and “news” coverage, have deteriorated greatly in the last 20 years. It of course has nothing to do with the public being convinced to “accept” invasions of countries, and “homicide by politics”, with apparent glee. (and ignorance)
