Welcome to the geritocracy. For years and years, codger congressman and paleolithic presidents ignored young people-and blamed them for being apathetic. (Woman: My boyfriend died in your lame war, you're polluting the air, and young people can't get good jobs!) (Man: What do you expect? You youngsters don't vote!) Finally, in 1992, young Americans got the message. They voted in droves and became Bill Clinton's biggest constituency! (Man 2: Without voters under 30, you'd still be dredging chicken toxins in Arkansas- what are we going to do for them?) (Bill Clinton: Thanks to NAFTA, we'll be employing millions of people as young as 6- overseas!) Clinton owed young voters big time, yet his relationship with them was perfectly symbolized by a certain white house itern. (Man 3: We're shelling out for social security you're taking away from us and student loan debt is killing us!) (Bill Clinton: Maybe if you guys voted...ah) Eight years later, the young are staying home on election night... and everyone's wondering why. (Man 1: You can't complain about the system unless you vote!)
