I have already called Mr. Obama a lame duck in a previous post but I wouldn’t call every President a Lame Duck after they were re-elected. Both Clinton and Reagan went on to do very big and beneficial things for the country in their second term. W tried to double down on his stupidity in his second term and Obama seems to be following in W’s footsteps.
You apologists out there from either side can whine and snivel about the politics but Great Leaders Lead and Poor leaders complain about how their ideas didn’t get a fair chance.
I didn’t like Clinton in his second term and didn’t vote for him but I was impressed with his ability to get things done saddled with a hostile congress. I didn’t like all of Reagan’s ideas either but again, with a country in the doldrums and a hostile congress he was able to get a lot done and move the country forward.
All I hear from Obama is: I didn’t know that was happening, I wasn’t aware that they wouldn’t be ready, etc. He is a weak, immature president and we will be well served when he is gone.
