As they sit and read newspaper, door bell rings. Janis notices Gene who carries the bowl of candy to the front door. Janis remarks to Arlo, "I can't believe Gene's handing out pure candy now." Janis rests in Arlo 's arms. Both seem baffled. Arlo says, "Talk about a scary Halloween!"
