Arlo tries to explain to the homeless man, "I don't have a lot of money to spare!" Man mutters, "Yes, sir! I know.." Arlo adds, "I have a family! I'm raising a son.." Arlo imagines a Gene who dresses in a suit. Gene screams at a homeless person, "Get away from me, you old bum!" Arlo's tone changes, "Just tell me it's for food or something!" Man quickly replies, "Oh, I'll tell you that!!"
