Arlo and Janis by Jimmy Johnson for December 28, 1998
Transcript:
Gene asks, "Dad, is anyone who would steal a bad person?" Arlo answers, "Well, he'd certainly be a flawed person." Gene asks, "But would 'he' be an evil person?" Arlo looks angry and says, "This person is not you, I know." Gene asks, "Should that affect your answer?" Arlo says, "Maybe not, but it would."
The action may be bad, and actions do speak louder than words, stealing is wrong. People should be given a chance to make amends. Ultimately someone paid a debt which he did not owe, for those of us who owed a debt we could not pay.
