Arlo and Janis by Jimmy Johnson for July 19, 2006
Transcript:
"The bulldog, Mark Antony, thinks the kitten has been baked in a batch of cookies." "He takes a kitty-shaped cookie and puts it on his broad back..." "And he rides it around, like he did the kitten, sobbing all the time!" "The best cartoons aren't always funny." "Good thing."
It’s interesting that as soon as Arlo started talking, I knew EXACTLY what cartoon he was talking about, even though I haven’t seen it in, what, 40 years? What is it about that particular cartoon that makes it stand out among the hundreds of wonderful WB saturday morning cartoons?
