Guidelines for creating a secure online password: Choose a password with at least eight characters, preferably more. Use a combination of numerals and letters. Use only nonsequential numbers. Use a combination of upper and lower case letters. Do not use names or words that are found in the dictionary. Do not use a password created for another application. Change your password often. Never write down your password!
I’ve simplified it a little bit by having 1 easy-to-remember probably not very strong password just for all the sites I don’t CARE whether somebody hacks….
