You know, in these old “Back to B.C.” strips, a common theme is Wiley disliking water. I don’t recall having seen this for years in the newer strips, though. Is this a “running gag” that got dropped? By the way, I just looked up Wiley on Wikipedia, and it states:
“Wiley was patterned after Hart’s brother-in-law, Wiley Baxter, who lost his leg in World War II.” Fascinating! Never knew that.
