Hello, everybody!
Winter, Summer, Autumn, Spring… we faithfully travel back 10 years in time, just to comment on Ballard Street about “CLEO and COMPANY”!
Today, it’s the March 3rd 2019 strip…
On Sherpa:http://www.comicssherpa.com/site/feature?uc_comic=cscwy
And yes, Bacon Boy… it’s the 3rd… for…um… the second time? Thank you!
I usually start typing before midnight, still technically the day before the date on the strip…
so I remind myself to add a day to what my computer says.
But .if… I start after midnight… I often… sigh…. fail to remind myself to NOT add a day.
Is there a word for “helpers” like Claude?
“Undo-it-yourselfer”?
Who ya gonna call?
Somebody else!
So now, instead of a protruding ladle that, with luck, might have been pushed down into the drawer, using a thin knife through a tiny opening,
you have a drawer totally blocked by a broken countertop…. and a $600 repair bill… and a sneering local handyman.
Or even… Wow!… the whole new kitchen of Clara’s dreams!
Forget what I said, Clara…. go ahead…. encourage Claude to break things….
and go looking at countertop colors and cabinet facings!
No white stuff piled up here….
Our winters, except for those terrible 4 years of drought…. are grey and muddy….
BUT also green, cos everything sprouts.
Roses and narcissus (es?) may bloom too early, and freeze… but usually recover.
My (crab)grass is very long, but the yard is too wet to walk on or mow.
Dennis… yes… I read it… thanks!
I sorta doubt the yarn store was named after that Stephen and Penny.
But when I heard the names, they popped up in my mind.
