The face was drawn with pencil and then a black marker…
easily held in the teeth…..
and filled in with some rather old pale pink paint, that’s gotten pretty viscous by now, and stays put.
But the red paint is another story…. fresh, shiny, drippy, bright and zestful….
it runs from his brush and rolls down the wall, challenging his doggie instincts to give chase…
maybe to bite it, dab at it with the brush, and splash in its puddle on the floor.
His head-and-shoulders-down, butt-and-wiggly-tail-up posture is a pure dog-language come-on….
“Play with me!!”
That’s one problem for dog artists…
they’re easily distracted, having the attention span of… well… cocker spaniels.
