The running will ruin your knees sooner or later. Why not just brisk walking? You still get the same health benefits and time to be by yourself. That’s what I do now. When I had kids at home, Ironing and washing the dishes also gave me time by myself. No one wanted to help, though occasionally I would make one or another help with the dishes.
