There is a story going around about a young lady who did NOT like the custom of the couple smashing wedding cake into the other person’s face. “If you do that to me, I’m leaving.” And apparently, the said it more than once.
Come their wedding day, as they were cutting the cake, she whispered her warning to her groom, and darned if he didn’t do it anyway. She looked at him in shock, and then turned around and walked out of the hall, and onto the parking lot. He ran after her to apologize, and told her he thought she was kidding.
