hi Tribe condolences to Terry and family, (and hugs). Hugs also to MoPar & Mrs. Mitch.
Shika the avatar didn’t have too much to eat (however, I did)! it was in the museum at Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump (i just love that name) which I visited in the Fall of 2008 on my Canadian Drive-By vacation. I drove 11000 km (around 6900 miles for my American friends) and saw more stuffed large animals than live ones. (and i never managed to get pictures of the live ones.) i saw a deer in Jasper, AB; a small black bear outside of Dorion, ON; and a fox in Thunder Bay, ON. no moose, mountain goats, bighorn sheep, buffaloes, etc. i guess it would have helped if i’d had a spotter to look for beasties while i was driving, but it was a solo trip.
