Confirm the true stories in the Bible? What about the stories which aren’t true? Somewhere in the O.T. is the story about somebody commanding the sun to stop in the sky to enable enough daylight to determine a battle’s outcome. That was written by a human who didn’t know the Earth orbits the sun. Or, if that was an idiom such as “raining cats and dog”, it means the Bible shouldn’t be taken literally, as some believe it should be.
