Trump’s WALL OF MONUMENTAL OBSTRUCTION is unprecedented.. Bob Mueller has detailed it clearly in his report :
“Special counsel Robert Mueller’s long-awaited report is more damning than President Donald Trump has publicly claimed, detailing Trump’s aggressive efforts to interfere in the Justice Department’s Russia probe..”
However, as Mueller himself said today, his hands were tied regarding the determination and indictment of Trump for his MANY OBVIOUS OBSTRUCTION CRIMES
“The Constitution requires a process other than the criminal justice system to formally accuse a sitting president of wrongdoing,” Mr. Mueller said, citing a department policy that he said limited his office’s ability to determine whether Mr. Trump committed a crime.
“Charging the president with a crime was therefore not an option that we could consider,” Mr. Mueller said in brief remarks at the Justice Department on Wednesday morning. “Under longstanding department policy, a president cannot be charged with a federal crime while he is in office. That is unconstitutional—even if the charge is kept under seal and hidden from public,” Mr. Mueller said.
It is very interesting that Mueller’s first press event regarding his report – and announcing the closure of the special counsel office – comes only hours after that office was forced to deny that Mueller HAD DRAWN UP INDICTMENT CHARGES FOR TRUMP’S OBSTRUCTION
