While mostly harmless in the wild, this species can bring traffic tp a standstill and wreak havoc on power, water and communications lines if it gains a foothold in an urban environment.
We already show signs of infestation here….I live on the edge of town on the main north/south street, which seems to be torn up half the time by these very active creatures.The tour guide is leaving out the dangerous pits they dig, trying to trap unwary motorists and swallow their cars whole.
