Calvin and Hobbes by Bill Watterson for November 04, 1989
Transcript:
Calvin: Man alive! Can you believe what my teacher wrote on my report? She says I obviously did no research whatsoever on bats and that my scientific illustration looks like I traced the batman logo and added fangs! Hobbes: She's pretty perceptive. Calvin: She didn't even give me credit for my professional clear plastic binder! Hobbes: What did your parents have to say? Calvin: Nothing. And if you'll give me a hand here, it will stay that way.
(Later…)Calvin: I don’t get it. I mean, Hobbes is a mammal, and he can’t fly, so how can bats be mammals? (Calvin is handed a book on bats) I’m such an idiot.
