Cleats by Bill Hinds for June 11, 2011
Transcript:
Jerome's dad: Boys, I don't care if it is the World Cup, there's just not enough scoring. I'm going to watch baseball in the other room. I popped you some corn, boys. Jerome: Sit and eat it with us, dad, and watch some more soccer. Jerome's dad: Okay, just 'til the popcorn's gone. Then I'll pop some more.
I probably should have given more attention to all kids sports at the beginning instead of just soccer. I know a lot of people didn’t even look at Cleats because it was about soccer. I intended the humor to be about the relationship of kids and parents through sports in general. Live and learn.
