Dee: Hey, Edith. Check out my yo-yo. Edith: Ah - the descendant of the ancient Filipino hunting tool. Dee: Huh? Edith: Yes, supposedly a hunter would sit in a tree and wait for a small animal to wander by. Then the guy would drop a heavy stone yo-yo on the little beastie. If he missed, the yo-yo would come back and he could try again. When he finally hit something he would have his next meal. It was the first case of yo-yo dieting.
