Alice: Look! He's here! Dad: What? Who's here? Mom: It's our turn to take care of the class guinea pig. Alice: Hi, guinea pig! Mr. Danders: It's Danders. Mr. Danders. Why does no one ever remember my name? Boy: He's all yours. My mom says no more pets in the house, especially yappy rodents who shed.
I had a couple of guinea pigs growing up, but neither of them was especially yappy. I was unaware that they could yap.
