Mom: Did Miss Bliss play some songs on the piano? Alice: Yeah. They were all about washing your hands and being polite and not chewing gum. Every time her back was turned, we'd all go bang on the piano. So she sang a song about not banging on the piano every time her back was turned. Mom: The piano's not a toy. For every girl and boy. To bang and pound and... Alice: MOM.
While my grandkids were growing up, they loved nothing more than banging on my piano. I think that and the fact that there were always presents for them is why they wanted to come see grandpa! I only had one rule for my grandkids. Do whatever you want. I don’t have anything in my house more important than the kids. I have nothing that I can’t fix, replace or do without. So, run free!!!
