A bit of good news, fellow “Cul de Sac” commenters! Recently I wrote GoComics.com and asked whether comments on “Cul de Sac” would be allowed when the “Classic Cul de Sac” starts. The regular “Cul de Sac” ends when Richard Thompson retires on September 23rd. I had noted that other “classic” comics, including “Peanuts” and “Calvin and Hobbes” do not have commentary, and was concerned that I would lose contact with the only people I know of who like “Cul de Sac” and Richard Thompson. Of course, many of you comment on other strips, but it’s hard to keep track of who is who. None of the people I know elsewhere are the least bit interested – their eyes glaze over big time if the subject is brought up.
I look forward to continued association with fellow “Cul de Sac” aficionados.
