Mike: What's your theme this year? Mark: University investments in South Africa. I just hope I get a good seat this time. Mike: Did you bail with Zonker? Mark: Nah. The cops don't turn up anymore. Man: Class of 1979, I greet you on the occasion of my tenth commencement address to the graduating class of this university. I need not tell you it has been a remarkable decade. And as the last class to graduate in the seventies, it is fitting that you are no less remarkable. As you know, a record number of you have been accepted at top law and medical schools. Many others have received presitgious awards and fellowships for study abroad. Am I proud of you? Do I take more than ordinary pleasure in this astonishing record? By way of answer, I would like to share with you the opening words of my graduating speech to the class of 1970... "Attention: Will the students who trashed my office last night please return the diplomas?"
