Sid: Okay, tell you what, Ray. You can have the property for $750,000! Not a penny less, babe! $25,000? It's yours. You owe me one, man. Person: Mr. Medevoy of Orion Pictures on the line, sir. Sid: Thanks, Maggie...Mike? Sid! Mike: Sid! Long time, guy! Sid: Welcome back, babe. How was Aspen? Mike: Okay, you know, same crowd. How's your De Lorean project going? Sid: Well, that's what I called about, Mike. Duke had a run of bad luck while you were away. Mike: Oh, yeah? Sid: The studio ruled out at the last moment. We were two days from shooting, so Duke got desperate. He took the development money and set up a ten million dollar cocaine deal. Unfortunately, the middleman was a D.E.A. informant, and Duke was busted making the buy at some Laguna beach flop house. Mike: Jeez...that's an incredible story... Sid: Tell me about it. Mike: It'd make a helluva movie, wouldn't it? Sid: Hey, Mike. Who loves you, babe?
