Doonesbury by Garry Trudeau for October 16, 1987
Transcript:
Girl: What's wrong, Uncle Floyd? Floyd: It's my putting game, Penny. It's off. Barbara Bush: And I want him stricken from my will! George Bush: If he feels Du Pont is his man, I have to respect that. Du Pont: And now, my very, very good friend, George Bush's brother! Skippy: Thanks, Pete! In one way or another, Skippy's disloyalty affected every member of the Bush clan. The Bush women in particular found Skippy's behavior unforgivable. Only George was, characteristically, restrained. Du POnt, in contrast, was shameless.
