Penny: The Easter bunny came!! Wally: Z Penny: He snuck into our house last night and hid all the Easter eggs!! Wally: What?? How did that happen?? How could a bunny get in here without me knowing it??! I used to be able to smell an intruder a mile away! I must be slipping! First it was Christmas, now this! They're liable to trade me in for a better watchdog! From now on, I'd better bark at everything! Rowf (x20) Ralph: Why is this dog so weird? Norman: Good watchdogs put a lot of pressure on themselves!
A LOT of comic strips have kids saying and doing things that you would expect only from an adult. In this strip, we have Norman. A 19yo that still acts like a little kid at times and like an idiot at most of the other times!!! Just look at him standing there with an Easter basket in his hands like he was an 8-year-old!
