Stu: Who ever heard of having a roly-poly bug as a college mascot?? Norman: Roly-poly bugs are very important to our ecological balance! Stu: But it's a terrible mascot!! It's stupid and embarrassing and... Norman: They also roll up into a ball when they feel threatened!
But Armadillidium are wonderful (I’m sure all thousands of them, though I obviously haven’t met most species)!They are one of the few arthropods that I will take outside when they wanter into my house.The only thing wrong with the cute mascot is that they don’t have enough legs… um.. arms.. um.. larms?…..
