I know people complain about germs in day care centers, etc., but as someone who is surrounded by nurses in my personal life (and their unsolicited advice – gah!) kids getting sick at daycare is not necessarily a bad thing as long as it does no permanent damage. It can actually help build a strong immune system so they don’t get sick as often when they have to go to school. It takes a few years to build up that immune system, but people who are exposed to a lot of germs tend not to get sick that often . . . like all the nurses I know who are hacked and sneezed on 365 . . .
