About 30 years ago, I quit a job that paid $2K per month (great pay for me) and good coworkers but a misanthropic supervisor whose goal in life seemed to be to make everyone else as miserable as he was. I’d lined up another job that only paid $1K a month but it was something I loved doing. People would ask if I was crazy and I’d tell them, “I may be making half as much money now, but I’m twice as happy.”
Moral of the story: Anytime you have a job that makes you dread waking up in the morning, it’s time to find something else no matter how much it pays. Life’s too short already…why spend time hating it?
