Frazz says, "You don't even know the guy." Caulfield says, "What I do know is at some point he was buying that 'I'd rather be fishing' bumper sticker instead of fishing." Frazz says, "They're next to the cash register at the bait shop." Caulfield says, "Also, he stuck it on his Audi." Frazz says, "Odd, but not necessarily out of touch."
My parents would have liked that sticker. They used to fish with passion. We’d spend two weeks up at Pigeon Lake in Ontario, Canada. Up for an early breakfast, out on the lake. In for a quick lunch/bathroom break, out on the lake. In for supper, and out yet again, trolling in the dark. After many years, after the camp changed hands, we made friends with the new owners and my parents learned that there was more to vacation than fishing. (Although it remained important.)
