Caulfield: What a gorgeous day! Makes you wish we had, like, six months before school starts up again!
Frazz: That would make it early March right now.
Caulfield: Then I could pelt you with snowballs for your deliberate obtusitude.
Jef – The Drive, Hines? It was something special in the 70s. Can’t believe I never took any pictures. Frisbees had the right of way – all traffic stopped as some kid in cut-off shorts ran out in the road to fetch one that got away. (Still is special, of course.) I wrote a song for it many years ago – " I’m going cruising down Hines"… “I know there’s one place where I can always find my smile.” ~ The little bridge at the base of the hill was a great place to play Pooh Sticks with the kids when they were very young. ~ Any other Detroiters out there remember the glory days of Hines?
