Shhh! Quiet, dear, I do believe that's a tree pipit! Quick, get out the binoculars! Yes, I'll get the telescope! I'll set up the stools and find the bird book! They're too late! It's flown the roost!
I used to live in northern Illinois and Wisconsin. While I don’t miss the winters, I do miss the wildlife, such as little fat chickadees!!!
