Oh Fred, how lovely you look in the Dears beautiful garden!
Well, a long, long time ago, when I did a walk with my first boyfriend, I snitched a beautiful rose from over a fence an gave it to him as a lovedrunken present. He looked at it, a bit puzzeled, and then stared at me and chewed the petals up.
Then, years later, I had another incident with roses: my husband and I were walking on (or: on?) a beach near Heiligenhaven. An amazing sunset over the sea. I took him in my armes, kissed him and right there a wonderfull red rose lied on the beach. I gave it to him, all dreamy eyed. Then we noticed there were lots of red roses on the beach- washed ashore from a burial at sea.
