i know this is a comic – but this does happen in real world, why can’t parents see the key to bringing up kids: is the adult is the parent the kid is the kid, lower on totem pole, less authority, none really. Take things away, kids don’t cooperate, no phone, grounded, no friends over, no going anywhere except with parents, password gets changed on computer, only time he/she can use it is to do homework when there is an adult sitting there next to them, Parent: take a breather, put your feet up and keep an eye on the screen that kid isn’t skyping, messaging, etc, homework only, then computer gets shut down for night……should be in main room, kitchen or living room, never in kids room. Put alarm on it if they try to get on it at night to figure out password. Give them chores to do, how does each generation of parents seem to do less parenting, and letting kids run/rule the house, throw temper tantrums with no consequences, sass back, yes it takes time and effort, but that comes with the territory, don’t want to do it, don’t have kids…..Off my soap box
