Having successfully entered Frogsbane without alerting the sleeping bureaucracy, I procured the services of a Rhubarb, which is a modern taxi service that you access by standing in the road and waving your arms. My driver was a plucky lass, with an indomitable spirit and a positive outlook on life. I noted that she was also armed to the teeth and that there were what appeared to be blood stains on the rear seat and floor. This indicated to me that she could be a valuable asset in my mission. I floated the idea of securing her services as my driver for the duration of my visit. She was immediately down for the deal, after negotiating for a deposit equal to what she normally earned in a month. Now I could avoid public transit and the ubiquitous surveillance therein. The mission was coming together nicely.
