What's it like being raised by your grandma? I bet you can get away with all kinds of stuff! Oh do we ever! Most nights, she falls asleep at about eight, so we stay up til two in the morning watching TV and eating junk food. Whoa! That is so cool! And she never makes us do chores or homework unless we feel like it. Then at allowance time, her eyesight is so bad she's always giving us fifty dollar bills by mistake... No way! That's excellent! P.J.?.. Yeah? Get a life.
It’s astounding how many kids are NOT being raised by a parent. Grandparents, aunts, older siblings. That ‘average American family’ does not exist.
