Things are certainly different now than when I went to school (50’s). All of our drivers were students that had reached their 16th birthday and had their license! Mostly 11th and 12th grader. And, if you’re wondering, this was in Alabama. Walker County, in fact. I just assumed that all school bus drivers were students.
