We have a neighbor that has one of those large skeletons in their yard that they put up every Halloween. One year they put Christmas lights and a Santa hat on it. The neighborhood wasn’t pleased at all, nor did the HOA. Sometimes it’s good to have an HOA because this was not welcomed. They had to remove it!
