I have a suggestion. Transfer ownership to the states all federal land within its borders. The state governments can decide the details for selling or managing the acquisition. The Federal Government shouldn’t own land except for what’s required for it to perform its Constitutional duties, like the military. We are a union of 50 sovererign states, and one of those states is NOT the federal government.
