Very nice, except for the dig against books. I never understand why some people insist on opposing book learning to life learning, as if only one or the other were possible. Actually, I do understand—it’s American anti-intellectualism—which is not a good thing. In any case, books (written communication) and granny (oral communication) are the only ways in which the wisdom of past ages can be transmitted to the present age.
