Woman: Tyr, this is our son. Tyr: Healthy lad. What's his name. Woman: Sigurd Tyrson. Tyr: A fine moniker. Well, thanks for stopping by! Woman: Forget it! It's your turn, now! I'm getting some sleep! Tyr: What?? What am I supposed to do with him? Woman: Bond with him. Tyr: Uhh... how's you like to lay siege to a fiefdom, kid?
Folks lay sIEge to a fortified place like a castle or a city with a wall around it. A fief is given by a lord to another lord who swears loyalty to him and did him a valuable service (like capturing a castle or a city with a wall around it). Tyr isn’t the sharpest ax on the rack but he’ll know the rules of this game. (Since he’s a god, who’s higher on the food chain? Odin?) (Sorry ladies, this was usually a game for boys)
