I’m DoD, working for the USMC at Camp Pendleton. We’ve already lost all our contractors, projects have been cancelled, and people laid off – you better believe it hurts the local economy. No pay raise for four years, we do our own janitorial and maintenance work in the office – and’ve been buying our own office supplies. Now we face a 20% cut in pay through furlough. And for no reason except political spite.
