The pioneering "Gordo" comic strip ran from 1942-1985 in over 200 newspapers in the U.S. "Gordo" introduced much of Mexican art and culture to Americans, and brought mirth, wit and joy to readers, including this cartoonist - Lalo Alcaraz. Gus Arriola 1917-2008.
