Cuco: You're working for the tequila party?! Memo: Yes. I am their head of advertising. Cuco: The tequila party is a lame attempt by Latino republicans to split off the Latino vote from democrats! Memo: Do you think they'll like this one? Sign: The tequila party: Reminding you about certain Latino sterotypes
Do you really in your heart of hearts believe that the Democrats or Republicans give a rip about us as a population. They only want the vote.
The political parties work toward improving their own standing and strength within government, not to actually help any one group (unless they have money).
I do however take issue with your depiction of Hispanics and the stereotypical way that you use to get your points across. It is unfortunate that I cannot support this. Having worked long and hard to get people to recognize us as a viable resource within communities to manage change and diversity and to move from away from images that create inappropriate images (yes I know it is a cartoon), it hurts to see this as a person that has family on both sides of he border.
