My sister (living 1500 miles away) would not allow a TV in the house, but her kids could watch TV when visiting elsewhere. Once on a visit, they were watching TV and when the program was ending, one wanted to watch one program, but the other wanted to watch a show on the other channel. Dad began wondering - if they don’t have a TV at home, why were they so familial with the schedules?
Later learned they had after school jobs assigned, and the three wouild pitch in to complete them rapidly, and then go over to a neighbors house to watch TV!
